Walela is the Cherokee word for hummingbird. It's also the symbol of inspiration for a family of women singers—rock icon Rita Coolidge, her sister Priscilla Coolidge, and Priscilla's daughter Laura Satterfield.

The crowd's mesmerized. Entranced by the sum of the generations. Three Cherokee women singing as one voice. Pure a cappella sound and beauty merging traditional Native American music with contemporary themes and ideals.
