No matter how big a crowd is, there will always be more people who couldn't make it than those that do. Everyone has a reason. Some better than others.

A shrine sprouted up, prominently positioned in front of the stage. A monument to those who are with us in spirit but not in the flesh. Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsburg, and Bill Graham. Being watched over by a statue of Jerry Garcia.

Need proof? Earlier, a young guy was handed a flyer for tonight's Summer of Love Trance Dance. He looked at it, read it, smiled, and said, "Garcia, man!"
